The Green House Initiative, Inc. (“TGHI,” “we,” “us”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website (growwithgreen.org), our donation and program activities, and our internal software tools.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, mailing address, and any message or donation details you send us. Payment information for donations is processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers. Our website host also collects basic usage data (pages visited, browser type).

How we use it

To process donations and send receipts, to run our programs and respond to your questions, and to keep accurate financial records and meet our legal and reporting obligations as a nonprofit.

Internal accounting tools

We use QuickBooks Online for our bookkeeping. We use an internal, private tool (“TGHI Claude Reader”) that connects to our own QuickBooks company, with read-only access, to help prepare reports. This tool is not offered to the public, is used only by TGHI staff, and does not connect to anyone else’s QuickBooks account.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example, payment processing, website hosting, and accounting), when required by law, or with your permission.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including limiting access to authorized people only.

Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete your contact information, or to stop sending you emails, at any time.
